Unlike so many relationship books, which simply acknowledge men and women think differently or propose men make all the changes, this manual identifies typical problems and gives no nonsense, practical guidance. The author insists all parties in the relationship must take responsibility for their thinking and actions. Her advice is based on decades of experience as both a family and marriage therapist and a wife. We found the information to be invaluable. My wife and I intend to read this book aloud to one another as we travel cross-country on a vacation later this summer. We give it three hearts. |
